Bible Baptist Church of Bartlesville

We are a small independent fundamental baptist Church who stands on the word of God and contends for the faith in the Bartlesville/Dewey, Oklahoma area. We sing traditional hymns, and have church services on Wednesday evenings, Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings. We have members of all ages and are a family that strengthens one another with the word and love. We have a faithful pastor who is not afraid of telling the truth. We have learned members who test and examine what is preached, like Bereans. We believe and stand on the Rock, Jesus Christ, by the grace of God, emphasizing faith in his provisions for us as the only righteous and true way of reconciliation to the Father. By this alone can we have peace with God. We acknowledge the perfect and preserved word of God as the King James Version in the English language, and we mark those who are contrary to the doctrines of Christ. We have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, or worldliness other “churches” so easily adopt. We emphasize the importance of rightly dividing the word of truth, and seek to build up local believers to be a light in the local community. We teach modesty, humility, and encourage skillfulness in the word. We willingly welcome any and all questions regarding the truth in sincerity. We don’t tolerate or embrace sinfulness, but rather reprove and preach against it, so that God may edify and sanctify us with His word so that we may become more pure and peculiar amidst a wicked and dark world. We preach the gospel which saves, and we don’t sugarcoat the judgment coming for those who reject the truth.
